narrative imaginings

a few lovely dance images

there is something about dance images — these skilled, fluid movers are just so inspirational.

much like great athletes, these expressive physical artists find the limits of what we — as human bodies — are capable.

they are somehow, through conscious effort and mindful determination, able to reveal a bit of true spirit.

yet silent, yet mute.

however censored — a glimpse of what is unable to be communicated through other methods.

their unformed passions / fears / insecurities / secrets …

made public through muscle fibers.  through the stretching of tendons and extension of bones.

we hear — we comprehend this language that is impossible for us to speak.

language of dance.
